This hidden gem of a hotel exceeded all my expectations! The friendly family atmosphere made me feel right at home and connected with the locals. The owners were genuine and made me feel like a part of their world. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was top-notch and refreshing. The 60's style dining room served mouth-watering home-cooked meals, which truly showcased the region's culinary prowess. Despite not having a pool, the hotel exuded charm and warmth. It is conveniently located in the heart of the village, yet surprisingly peaceful. As a solo traveler, I was thrilled to have easy parking and a cool garden to unwind in. The hotel's central location also allowed me to explore popular tourist spots like Aubeterre with ease. my stay at this hotel was extraordinary and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic experience.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed during our stay and there were no nearby eating facilities. However, we did find a Carrefour supermarket just minutes away, which provided us with everything we needed.
